Her obituary: Jewell D. Warme, 86, Marietta Resident. Jewell Dodd Warme, 86, of Marietta died Saturday, Jan. 31. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta, with the Rev. Gordon Thompson and Dr. Charles A. Sineath officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Marietta. A lifelong resident of Cobb, Ms. Warme was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church of Marietta and a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was a retired teacher for the Cobb County School System and the Atlanta School System. Survivors include her husband, Walter H. Warme Sr.; two daughters, Julie W. Cone of Marietta and Ellen W. Hanson of McLean, Va.; one son, Walter H. Warme Jr. of Alexandria; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews. Contributions can be made to the Mission Fund of the First United Methodist Church, 56 Whitlock Avenue, S.W., Marietta, GA. 30064. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
