His obituary: Robert Jenkins, 60, Acworth resident. Robert Randall Randy Jenkins, 60, of Acworth died Wednesday, July 18, 2007. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, with the Rev. John Tracy officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery. A Chattanooga, Tenn., native, Mr. Jenkins retired as an educator and coach in 2003 after 33 years of service. He coached at Awtrey Middle, North Cobb, Atlantic Christian, Etowah and Sprayberry High schools. He was a member of Piedmont Road Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Jenkins of Acworth; one son, Robert Randall Jenkins Jr. of Acworth; two daughters, Andi Jenkins of Acworth and Katja Russell of Springhill, Tenn.; one sister, Donna Hill of Tullahoma, Tenn.; and one granddaughter. Contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation or Raintree Village in Tallapoosa, Ala. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
