Her obituary: Patsy G. Sloan, 64, Kennesaw resident – Patsy G. Sloan, 64, of Kennesaw died Sunday, Nov 26, 2000. Services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta, with the Rev. Ken Day officiating. A Gaston County, N.C. native, Mrs. Sloan retired as a teacher from Sprayberry High School after 20 years' service. Survivors include her husband, Ben L. Sloan; one son, Michael Sloan of Cheyenne, Wyo., one daughter, Judy Adams of Marietta; her mother, Mable Guin of Marietta; one brother, J.L. Guin Jr. of Charlotte, N.C. and three grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. Contributions may be made to M.U.S.T. Ministries, 55 Elizabeth Church Road NE, Marietta, Ga. 30060. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
