Lucia Lummus Holt, teacher, 1962-1968. She married while at Sprayberry and taught under both names. Mrs. Holt died on January 26, 2002. This is her picture from the 1966 Echo.

Her obituary: Lucia Lummus Holt, January 26, 2002. Woodstock, GA – Lucia Lummus Holt, 63, of Woodstock, GA and formerly of Marietta, GA, died January 26, 2002. Funeral services will be held 11 o'clock Monday, January 28, 2020 at St. Clement's Episcopal Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Interment services will be 2 o'clock at St. James' Episcopal Church Cemetery in Marietta. Arrangements by H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel in Atlanta (404) 851-9900. Mrs. Holt ws a graduate of Randolph Macon Woman's College and was a teacher at Sope Creek Elementary School in Marietta, where she received a Teacher of the Year Award. She was also an active Hospice Volunteer and an active member of St. Clement's Episcopal Church in Canton where she served on the Vestry. Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her husband, Barnard Shipp Holt and parents, Harold C. and Janett B. Lummus of Columbus. Survivors include a son, Barnard Shipp, Jr., of Woodstock; a daughter, Courtney Janett Holt of Atlanta; brothers, Harold Campbell Lummus, Jr., of Columbus, GA and F. Edward Lummus, II of Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Clement's Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 4156, Canton, GA 30114.
