Her obituary: Lita C. Conrad. Lita C. Conrad died May 16, 2006. She was born on December 25, 1913 in Comer, Georgia, and has resided in Atlanta since 1915. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with Phi Beta Kappa from Agnes Scott College and obtained her Masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1940. Mrs. Conrad taught in the Atlanta, Fulton, and Cobb Country school systems for 56 years. She retired from St. Pius X High School in 1991. She was predeceased by her beloved husband William Conrad on May 9, 2006, and is survived by daughters Mary Constance Conrad, Teresa Warren and spouse Clark, Catherine Sweeley and spouse Richard; six grandchildren, Philip Warren, Sarah Sweeley O'Sullivan, Nicholas Warren, David Sweeley, Helen Sweeley, and Michael Sweeley, and three great grandchildren, Victoria Warren, Wyatt Warren, and Kendall Warren. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 19 at one o'clock at St. Stephens the Martyr Catholic Church in Lilburn. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity. Friends are invited to visit with the family Thursday evening from seven until nine o'clock at H. M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30319, 404-261-3510.
