Her obituary: Arnold, Juanita. Juanita Arnold, 89, of Marietta died Sunday, February 21, 2010. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Fritz Bogar officiating. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Arnold was a school teacher in Cobb County for 30 years as well as an assistant principal. She was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church of Marietta. Mrs. Arnold is survived by two sons, Gregory Arnold and his wife, Margaret of Seminole, FL, Jeff D. Arnold of Marietta; two grandchildren, Jesse M. Arnold of Winston-Salem, NC, Shelly L. Mertz of Colorado Springs, CO; three great-granddaughters, Jaedyn, Zoie, Aubrey; one sister, Marjorie Thompson of Ridgewood, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Cobb County Unit, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd. #280, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
