Mrs. Eva Faulkner Wilson, age 89, of Fayetteville, GA, formerly of Commerce, GA, died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Dogwood Forest of Fayetteville. Mrs. Wilson was born in Sylvester, GA. She was an active member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Mrs. Wilson was retired as a secretary from Cobb County School System. She was an artistic painter, an avid gardener, a talented seamstress, and a long time member of the Lost Arts Club in Commerce. Mrs. Wilson was a devoted wife to her first husband. William Barney Faulkner, Sr.; and her second husband, Thomas K. Wilson who both preceded her in death. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her sons, William B. Faulkner, Jr. of Atlanta and Jerry Faulkner of Tyrone; and a loving grandmother to Benjamin Faulkner, Caroline Faulkner Shirley, Nicholas Faulkner, Brandon Faulkner, and Stephen Faulkner. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 9 at 2 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce with the Rev. Blake Carter officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from noon until 2 PM. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
