Her obituary: County Native, Husband Killed In Auto Wreck. Columbus, Ga. – Mrs. Dianna Bair Brown and her husband James E. Brown, both 25, of Columbus, Ga. were killed late Wednesday in a head-on collision near Columbus. Mrs. Brown was a native of Orangeburg County and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Bair, Jr. of Pelham, Ga. formerly of the Walnut Grove community near Bowman. Her mother being the former Miss Alma Myers of Bowman. Mr. and Mrs. Brown were recent graduates of the Georgia State Teachers College and had taught in the schools of Georgia and also one year in the state of Washington. Mr. Brown, a native of Columbus, was stationed at Fort Benning. Survivors include her parents, two brothers and two sisters of Pelham, her grandmother, Mrs. Beulah Wilson Bair; and an aunt, Mrs. Gladys Harrison both of Bowman. Also an aunt Mrs. Aubrey Judy Sr. of Orangeburg. Funeral services are to be held for the couple in Pelham, Ga. on Sunday afternoon.
