His obituary: Ben T. Nunn Jr., 47, Teacher in Cobb, Dies. Ben T. Nunn Jr., 47, science teacher in the Cobb County school system, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning at his home, 585 Collier Rd., NW. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Nunn had begun his fourth year as a science teacher at Sprayberry High School. Born in Birmingham, Ala., Mr. Nunn taught school 10 years in Thomasville prior to coming to Atlanta. He had lived here about 10 years. He was a graduate of Wabash College and received his Master's degree from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Nunn was a Presbyterian. Surviving are his father, Ben T. Nunn Sr., Atlanta; sisters, Mrs. W.K. Bowden Sr., Ellenwood; Mrs. A.R. Morris, Chicago; and Mrs. D.K. Bartlett, Villa Park, Ill.; and a brother, Hugh E. Nunn, Chicago, Ill. Funeral arrangements will be announced by H.M. Patterson & Son.
