Her obituary: Bray, Anne Miley. Anne Miley Bray, 70, of Canton, GA. passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, June 2nd at the First Presbyterian Church of Marietta. Mrs. Bray is survived by her husband, Robert E. Bray of Canton, GA.; two sons, Eric Michael Bray and wife, Maia of Frisco, TX., Brandon W. Bray of Champagne, IL.; two grandchildren, Aiden Bray and Zoe Bray, brother, Harry W. Miley of Columbia, S.C. She is predeceased by her parents, Harry W. And Mary Hunt Miley; brother, Martin Hunt Miley. Mrs. Bray, or lovingly known as Madame Bray, taught French in the Cobb County school system for 40 years at Wheeler High School and Sprayberry High School. She was the Chairman of the Foreign Languages Department of Sprayberry. After retiring from Cobb County, she taught at Kennesaw State University and Reinhardt University. Anne was a long-time member of Alpha Delta Kappa, an International Honorary Organization for Women Educators. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church as well as First Presbyterian Church in Marietta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
