His obituary: Charles Chance Enger, Jul 14, 1993 – Jul 17, 2026. Chance was born in Steamboat Springs, CO. on July 14th, 1993. Son of Lynn Carlisle and the late Scott Enger. Brother to Jade Patterson, Peyton Enger, Wyatt Enger and Kramer Bolton. Chance passed away and was lifted to heaven on July 17th, 2026. Chance loved being in the great outdoors. He loved camping, fishing, riding 4 wheelers and motorcycles, but most of all, doing these things with his good friends, family and beloved companion: Chief. And, of course, his general mischief making. He loved to make people laugh and smile. He was a daredevil aficionado. Trying to get as close to Mach 1 as humanly possible when driving or riding anything. He loved to grill and barbecue, making meals for others. He was so full of life all of the time. Wanting to do and see everything. Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work and play. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void.
Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared a laugh, a kiss; Ah yes, these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savoured much; Good friends, good time, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seems all to brief; Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
