Donald was born on December 28, 1966 in Marietta GA., to Kathleen Carol Coxe McMichael, and the late Donald Ray McMichael, Sr. Survivors include his son: Daniel Ray Duncan; mother: Kathleen Carol McMichael; brother: Bryan Anthony McMichael; and sister: Kerri DeeAnn Sturdivant.
