Her obituary: Michele Lynn Henson, January 30, 1966 – December 7, 2014. Mrs. Michele Lynn Henson, age 48, of Marietta, GA passed away on Sunday December 7, 2014 following a long battle with cancer. Mrs. Henson was born on January 30, 1966 in Jamestown, New York, the daughter of Patricia Pangborn Button and the late Ellis F. Button. She attended Piedmont Church of Marietta and prior to ill health, was employed with Wellstar OB/GYN for 13 years. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Ellis F. Button, Sr. and by her brother, Ellis F. Button, Jr. She was married on September 26, 1987 to Mike Henson. Survivors include her devoted husband, Mike Henson. Two daughters, Lindsay (David) Henson Leith and Lauren Henson. Her mother, Mrs. Patricia Warner. One granddaughter, Aubree Henson. Funeral services for Mrs. Henson will be on Sunday December 14, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Piedmont Church of Marietta with Dr. Dwight Ike Reighard officiating. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday December 13, 2014 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Winkenhofer Funeral Home. On Sunday December 14, Mrs. Henson will be carried to the Piedmont Church to lie-in-state from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.
