Her obituary: Brenda Diane Cowart Childers, December 31, 1965 – September 8, 2021. Brenda Diane Cowart Childers, age 55, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Gospel Temple Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sosebee Funeral Home on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Mrs. Childers was a member of Mt. Arbor Baptist Church. She enjoyed being outside and fishing and loved spending time and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Hazel Cowart. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Troy Childers; three children, David Childers (Candice), Michael Childers (Deana Carter) and Jacob Childers; three grandchildren, Lillian Childers, Carter Childers and Samuel Smith; one soon to be grandchild, Arthur Childers; two brothers, James Cowart (Mimi) and William Cowart; sister, Ginger Tuttle; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
