Her obituary: Tamara Kay Brawner, June 23, 1964 – January 8, 2023. Tamara Kay Brawner, of Smyrna, Ga passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 58 years old. She attended Sprayberry High School in Marietta and held an undergraduate and advanced degree from the University of Georgia. Tamara is preceded in death by her parents, Robert F. and Ruby Lee Brawner and her sister, Sharon Lee Brawner. She is survived by brothers, Felton J. Brawner (Betty) of Marietta, and Robert V. Brawner of Athens; sister, Linda Brawner of Kennesaw. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. There will be a visitation at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home, 180 Church St. NE Marietta, GA 30060, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 12, 2023. A graveside service will follow at Mountain View Park Cemetery at 2:30 PM.
