Her obituary: Lisa Goldie, Marietta, Georgia, Dec 26, 1964 – Dec 9, 2015. Lisa Goldie, 50, of Woodstock, died Wednesday December 9, 2015. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2pm at Stonecreek Church, 13540 Hwy 9 North, Milton, Ga 30004 with Pastor Chris Crutchley, Pastor Steven Gibbs, Headmaster Billy Peebles and Parker Whitlock officiating. Lisa believed that every moment in life was a gift and that Jesus had a purpose for everything. Lisa loved her husband Charlie. Those closest to her knew how madly they loved each other. Lisa would always say she had loved him her whole life. Lisa loved her mom and dad, sisters, children and grandchildren. They were all so important to her. She also loved the Lovett community and she cherished her job and co-workers. She retired as the Director of Human Resources at The Lovett School in 2015 after over 27 years of service. She graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1982 where she was also the 1982 Homecoming Queen and she attended West Georgia College. Her kindness to others and her genuine spirit made an impact on everyone she met. She fought her battle with cancer fearlessly and was surrounded by her family when she passed away. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Charlie Whitlock; her daughter Jamie Crutchley (Chris) of Cumming; sons, Adam Whitlock (Jessica) of Newnan and Parker Whitlock of Woodstock; mother, Patricia Ann Goldie of Marietta; sisters, Jayne Godfrey (Rick) of Woodstock and Kim Pasqualone of Marietta; grandchildren, Eli, Lily Kate and Haddie.The family will receive friends Friday, December 11, 2015 from 6-8pm at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Road, Marietta, GA 30066.
