October 13, 1963 – January 25, 2012. Hershel Reuben Jackson, 48, of Marietta died Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Elder Emit Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Noonday Cemetery in Marietta. Mr. Jackson was a native of Cobb County and was a graduate of Sprayberry High School. He worked for the Cobb County Water for 12 years. Survivors include his wife, Denise Jackson of Marietta; two daughters, Amanda Cole and her husband, Troy of Kennesaw, Felicia Rosenbaum and her husband, Brendon of Atlanta; one son, Reuben Jackson of Marietta; three grandchildren, Dravin and Deion Cole and Micah Rosenbaum; sisters, Elaine Lundy, Ann Smith and her husband, Jim, Fae Drummond, Connie Clark and her husband, Dave, Janet Smith, all of Marietta; one brother, Joe Jackson and his wife, Carol; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Elmina Lewis and Hershel Reuben Jackson, Sr.; brother, Ralph Wilson Jackson.
