Her obituary: Nancy Dianne Gemmill, March 10, 1963 – May 20, 2023. Nancy Dianne Gemmill, 60, of Jacksonville, FL passed away May 20, 2023. She was born March 10, 1963 in Big Spring, TX to James Robert Weeks, Sr. and Catherine (Dow) Weeks. Nancy graduated from Sprayberry High School and served her country honorably in the United Stated Navy. After the Navy, she worked as an Air Traffic Controller and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration. Nancy enjoyed building computers, making jewelry and ceramics and was an avid reader. She will always be remembered as being mischievous with a brilliant mind. Nancy had an infectious laugh with a kind spirit and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend and was always there when someone needed her. Nancy is preceded by her father and survived by her mother; children, Bryan Gemmill (Samantha) and Sarah Hurley (Richard); siblings, James Robert Weeks, Jr. (Jane), Catherine Margaret Lake (Gordon) and Terry Lynne Perkins (John); grandchildren, Cameron, Sophie, Hannah, Ryan, Savannah and Natalie with a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, June 3, 2023 in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until service time.
