Her obituary: Lynnise Carol Wallis, 42. Lynnise Carol Wallis of Marietta has passed away at age 42 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her mother, Jean C. Wallis of Marietta; by her father, F. Earl Wallis, Jr. of Seattle, WA; by her brother, F. Earl Wallis, III of Smyrna; by half siblings Laura Leathers and Ellen Brown of Atlanta, and Lucas J. Wallis of Seattle; and by her niece, Emma M. Wallis, and her nephew, William Earl Wallis. Lynnise was a flower in bloom, vibrant, colorful, and cheery. She was thoughtful and considerate, thinking of others before herself. She was fond of animals, especially of horses and dogs. Above all, Lynnise loved to laugh. She loved life. We loved her dearly. A memorial service will be held at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home on Monday, June 20, at 12:30pm. She will be buried at Roswell Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Marietta, Georgia on Sunday, June 19, from 3:00 – 6:00pm.
