Her obituary: Kimberly Cantrell, February 6, 1963 – October 18, 2024. Kimberly Cantrell of Marietta, Georgia passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, at the age of 61. She was a loving, devoted wife of 38 years before her husband's passing in 2021. Kim was a wonderful mother to her two children and Grammy to their five children. Family was everything to Kimberly, both inside and outside of the home, including her co-workers. Throughout her 26-year career, she worked as the bookkeeper and secretary at Big Shanty Intermediate School. Kim was very strong in her faith, building a deep relationship with the Lord. Kim shared that faith with everyone she encountered. She could always be found reading the Bible in her spare time. Kim also loved sharing family time in the kitchen. One of the many things she enjoyed was making memories at the beach with her family. Kimberly was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmy Cantrell, her father Tommy Arnold and her mother Diane Arnold. Kimberly is survived by her son Bryson Cantrell (Krista), her daughter Brittany Edwards (Jeremy), her brother Kevin Arnold (Jackie), brother-in-law Jerry Cantrell, as well as her five grandchildren: Colton Cantrell, Anslee-Paige Edwards, Easton Cantrell, Brookelynn Edwards and Kendall Edwards. She also had several nieces and nephews. Kimberly will have a visitation in her honor Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 4:00 pm. Visitation will take place at Winkenhofer Funeral Home and Pine Ridge Memorial Park. A chapel service will be held the following day, Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 11:00 am. The service will take place in the Winkenhofer Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow immediately afterwards at Greers Chapel Cemetery in Kennesaw, Georgia.
