Her obituary: Kathy Manfredi, January 19, 1963 – - July 4, 2026. Kathy Manfredi, age 63, of Waleska, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Kennestone Hospital. She was born on January 19, 1963, in Marietta, Georgia, to Roy A. Pritchard, Jr. and the late Joyce Ann Keener Pritchard. Kathy was a proud graduate of Sprayberry High School, Class of 1981, and enjoyed a successful career in the banking industry for many years. She loved deeply and treasured every moment spent with her family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren. Kathy had a strong faith, loved gospel music, and was a faithful praying woman whose kindness and compassion touched everyone she met. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, including watching television, shopping, and going out to eat with those she loved. Known for her gentle spirit, Kathy never spoke an unkind word about anyone. She was a loving, caring, and selfless woman whose warmth and generosity will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy A. and Lucy Pritchard, and Lucille and Lewis Hitt. Kathy is survived by her husband, Robert Manfredi; father, Roy A. Pritchard, Jr.; children, Michael Powell (Margaret) and Kevin Simmons (Stephanie); brother, Keith Pritchard; and grandchildren, Logan Powell, Colton simmons and Carter Simmons; as well as a host of beloved friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Pastor Rusty Lanier officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Powell, Kevin Simmons, Logan Powell, Donnie Baker, Ronnie Partain, and Austin Birchell. Honorary pallbearers will be Colton Simmons and Carter Simmons.
