His obituary: John David Pace, August 31, 1963 – May 23, 2024. John David Pace passed away suddenly on May 23, 2024, at the age of 60. David was highly active throughout his entire life, from childhood sports to yoga with DDP. He was passionate about experiencing God's creation to the best of his ability. As an Air Force veteran, he was very proud to have served his country. David loved music, especially the King Elvis Presley. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to share things he found humorous, often quoting lines from his favorite movies, such as Nacho Libre! His dedication to his work for the Archdiocese of Atlanta brought him great joy, knowing that he was serving the Lord with his great talent. With his willful, positive attitude, sheer will power, and unwavering patience, he handled all life challenges well ...... you wanted him on your team --- and there are many teams out there who will feel his absence. And lastly, family and friends were everything to him. He found the love of his life in Julia and instantly became a father to his 3-step children whom he was so proud of and loved dearly. He became a proud Papa himself to Olivia and he was never the same. He adored her in every sense of the word. His departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply in his wide network of community. David is survived by his wife, Julia; children, Tanya, Kevin, Andrew, and Olivia; and siblings, Kimbrough (Alicia) Pace and Debbie Pace. [Southern Cremations and Funerals, Marietta, Ga.]
