Services were at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Maryville, Tenn., with the Rev. George Macht officiating. Ms. Tunnell was born in Indianapolis, Ind., and had lived in Marietta since 1968. She was a graduate of Sprayberry High School and attended Kennesaw State College. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her mother, Arlene Tunnell of Marietta; sister Vanessa Meek of Cartersville; and grandparents, Burley and Maude Howell of Maryville. Winkenhofer Funeral Home in Smyrna was in charge of arrangements.
