His obituary: Mr. Keith Odell Griffin, age 58, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away suddenly Saturday, March 20, 2021. He was born in Rome, Georgia May 5, 1962. His survivors include his mother-in-law, Mary Morris (Maw), whom he cherished; his beloved dog, Bentley; daughters, Mattie Grace Griffin of Cartersville, Ansleigh Cooper of Dallas; sister, Sherry Griffin Payne of Rockmart; nephews, Charles Bubba Goodson of Rockmart, Kenneth Michael Jinks of Rockmart, Josh Morris (wife, Brooke) (children, Blakely and Brock), Justin Morris (wife, Laurie) (child, Everly), Simon Morris of Cleveland, Tennessee; nieces, Tori Morris of Cartersville and Hannah Morris of Cleveland, Tennessee; brother-in-law, Franklin Morris (wife Tammi), Tommy Morris (wife, Susan) both of Cartersville, Jason Payne of Taylorsville; godparents, Stanley and Lounelle Lowery of Cleburne, Alabama; uncles, Caris Roland, Travis Roland, Henry Durham (Papaw Henry); aunts, Faye Durham (Granny Faye); cousins, Michael Durham, Dianne Durham Hall; and many more aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. He was a former partner of Four Lane Auto Parts and, upon his death, was the Owner of Keith's Towing. A smile was a permanent expression of Keith and he always had just the right word or joke for the moment. His love and passion for cars and trucks put him in a position to help many. His computer knowledge could put a part in someone's hand over night. This was a man with a generous heart for others. Keith was always just a phone call away to anyone who had a need. But on December 21, 2000, his former wife (Connie Morris Griffin) gave birth that December day to Mattie Grace Griffin whom forever changed the heart and life of her daddy (Keith). From the day she was born until the day of his death, he devoted his life to being the best dad one could ever hope to be, making sure Mattie Grace would not want for anything. Saturday's were very special; they were always on the go. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021, in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne McCreary officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 27, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
