Class of 1980

Brian Chambers. Brian died on March 27, 2023.

His obituary: Brian Lee Chambers of Canton, GA passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, only four days after the death of his beloved wife of 32 years, Jennifer. He was born August 28, 1961 in Marietta, GA to Velma Chambers and the late Irvin Chambers. Brian was a passionate man that gave his all to whatever he set his mind to. He never knew a hobby that he was not interested in. Some of the highlights were his talent for woodworking, creating many memorable pieces for others and his home, as well as an ear for music. Those who knew him knew of his love for his wife, Jennifer, and daughter, Lacey. He was always laughing and making jokes with those he felt most comfortable with but was never unkind to those he met. You could normally find him on the front porch of the home he designed and built, ready to talk with a cup of coffee and a pack of cigarettes. Brian was a unique spirit with a heart of gold. Brian was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer; grandparents Cas & Lucile Chambers and Walter & Alta Worley; father Irvin Chambers; step-father Pete Burnette; uncles Leland Chambers; John Worley and James Worley; and cousin Charlie Chambers. He is survived by his daughter Lacey (Will) Albright; mother Velma Chambers; sister Helen Boyd; brother Tony Chambers; nephew Josh (Amanda) Chambers; great nephews Foster and Holbrook Chambers; aunts Frances Chambers, Lillian Worley and Martha Faye Worley; uncle Howard (Cathy) Worley; and cousins Linda (Gary) Brown, Judy Crumbley, John (Lynn) Worley, Teresa Harlan, Guy (Deborah) Worley, Brenda (John) Roberts; Wade (Misti) Worley and Nicole Bruce. A joint Visitation and Memorial Service for Brian and Jennifer will be held at the Woodstock Church of Christ in Woodstock, GA on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Visitation will begin at 2 pm with the service following at 3.
