His obituary: Phillip Shawn Ruiz, November 6, 1961 – October 16, 2018. Phillip Graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1979, he also attended Berry College. Phillip passed away peacefully on October 16th, 2018 at Northside Hospital. He is survived by his parents Dick and Joann Ruiz along with five siblings; Steve Ruiz, Tracy Ruiz, Karen Hutcheson, Vince Ruiz, Renty Haney, and too many nieces and nephews to list. Phillip was an important part of makes the Ruiz family complete. He will be greatly missed. Time and prayers will help us heal however we will never forget our son, our brother, our uncle and our friend. A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, October 23rd, at 7 pm at Lakeside Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend John Pope will officiate.
