His obituary: Bart Morey McKeon, December 7, 1960 – July 12, 2015. Bart Morey McKeon, 54, of Marietta, passed away July 12, 2015. Bart was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and nephew. He is survived by his parents, Bernadette and Hugh McKeon; siblings, JoAnne Moss (Paul), Cheryl McKeon, Dennis McKeon (Laurie); nieces and nephews, Katie, Lauren & Michael McKeon, Jason Warnock (Fernanda, 3 children), Bernadette Henson (Preston, 3 children); many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends at Park Marina. Bart was very close to his family and friends. He was loved and enjoyed by many. Bart was a natural athlete and participated in sports his entire life. Football, swimming, track and field, but wrestling was his passion. He was a state champion wrestler at Sprayberry High School and a member of the Varsity Letterman Club at the University of Tennessee. Bart was self-employed in the home improvement field. He was a giver of his time and committed to youth not only in Cobb County but in Dade City, FL at Pasco County High School where he assisted a fine wrestling program with coaching and life techniques. He was a member of the boat community at Park Marina in Bartow County where he loved fishing, his friends and just being on the water. His family will receive friends Sunday, July 19th at the funeral home between the hours of 3 to 6PM, with a prayer service at 5:30. Mass of Resurrection will be held Monday, July 20 at 10 AM at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Garden at the church. Reception following at Marist Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bart's honor to Hospice, Angel Fund Endowment.
