Thomas Wilburn Plyler, August 7, 1959 – January 18, 2023. Thomas Wilburn Plyler, age 63 passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Thomas was born in Dallas, Georgia to Lois Spears and Tommy Plyler. Loved by all who knew him, Thomas enjoyed supporting others by attending AA meetings and he also savored his beloved Burger King. In the fall, Thomas did volunteer work for the North Georgia Fair.
Thomas is survived by his brother William Joseph Plyler, his sisters Lenora Barnett, Debbie Marie Caldwell (Tim), Connie Spears and Libby Gravely (Peewee); several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Thomas was preceded in death by his father Tommy Plyler; his mother Lois Spears and his step father Sammy Spears; his sister-in-law Judy Plyler and his brother-in-law Danny Barnett. A visitation for Thomas will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A chapel service will occur Monday, January 23, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Josh Turner officiating.Thomas will be laid to rest in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens, Acworth, GA.
