Paula Lloyd. Paula died on August 10, 2024.

Her obituary: Paula Lloyd House, August 22, 1960 – August 10, 2024. Paula L. House entered the gates of heaven on Saturday, August 10, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born on August 22, 1960, to the late Juanita and Hershel Paul Lloyd. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juanita Sigman (Dr Robert K) Sigman and Hershel Paul Lloyd; daughter Mariah House; in laws, Bob and Louise House; and brother-in-law, Bobby House. Paula grew up in Marietta, Georgia, where she attended Sprayberry High School (class of 1978). She played the clarinet, flute and the oboe in band. She was also the rifle corps captain in Sprayberry's Band Of Gold. Once she graduated high school, she attended college for a couple of years to become a nurse. Through her early adulthood she applied a few trades as a truck driver, hair dresser and nail tech. She was an artist of very many talents. She devoted 18 years to the Bartow County Sheriff's Department as a 911 operator and a communications training officer, and in the later days she was a chief purchasing agent in the civil warrant division. She was a devoted wife to her husband Joseph Jody House for 35 years. They raised two beautiful daughters, Christina and Mackenzie, in Cartersville Georgia. She was a phenomenal Nene to her granddaughters Ariahana and Kaliahna. She was known for her magic touch in the kitchen and where everyone knew they had a seat at her table. In both of her daughter's many sport events, she was known as the team hair braider, face painter and snack provider. She had a great love for gardening that she took after her mother. Paula will always be remembered as a Proverbs 31 woman, a Wife of Noble Character. She was a devoted mother, a treasured Nene, and the centerpiece of her family. She will be greatly missed by all of the many lives she touched. Paula leaves to cherish her fondest memories a devout husband, Joseph Jody House, two daughters Christina (Xavier) Davis, Mackenzie House (Christopher Turner); two granddaughters Ariahana and Kaliahna Davis; sister Lisa (Bill) Roberts; two brothers Joey (Peggy) Lloyd and Corey (Brenna) Lloyd; in laws Nina (Martin) Arguello), Leanne (Frank) Glover; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Your eyes were of those that anyone could float within, as wonderful as the ocean, Your heart more beautiful than a sunrise, and just as warm. I was able to experience the creation He made, I was knit together in your womb, Our heartbeats danced to the same rhythm, And our lives were forever intertwined. Your love is what I'll remember, Your smile is what I'll miss, Your beauty is what I'll see in the mirror, Your faith is going to blossom through me. He said it was your time to come home, Even though this house wasn't ready, I'm joyful knowing His face and hands is what you'll now embrace, Just know once I come home too, after I meet our make, your embrace is what I'll seek next. ` Mackenzie House Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is honored to serve the House family.
