His obituary: Randy Huey, April 8, 1959 – March 22, 2021. Randy Huey, 61, of Marietta, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021. Due to COVID restrictions, a private family service will be held on April 17 at Marietta Funeral Home. The family is however inviting friends to attend a committal service at Kennesaw Memorial Park on April 20 at 1:00pm. Randy was a nurse at Kennestone Hospital for over 37 years. He was dedicated to his work and was loved and respected by all the patients he served. Outside of work he loved to travel and always dreamed of making a trip to Hawaii. While traveling he would keep an eye out for art or books to add to his collection at home. He will be greatly missed by his family and his fur babies, Mac and Chloe. Randy is survived by his brothers, Mike Huey, and Mark (Teresa) Huey; Aunt, Yvonne Hopkins; Uncle, Donald (Polly) Hopkins; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Rex Huey. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you make donations to the American Diabetes Association, or your local animal shelter.
