Her obituary: Roger W. Phillips, 38, Cobb County employee. Roger W. Phillips, 38, of Woodstock, formerly of Cobb, died Saturday. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Woodstock Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Mr. Phillips worked for Cobb County as a communications supervisor for 10 years and was a member of Greers Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Robert and Rose Mary Phillips of Woodstock; his sister, Carolyn J. Lawson of Jasper; two brothers, Michael L. Phillips of Brunswick and Terry N. Phillips of Marietta; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
