Michael Kent Dean, 47, of Marietta died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Medford-Peden Funeral Home in Marietta, with the Rev. Doug Dean officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Park Cemetery in Marietta. A native of Kentucky, Mr. Dean worked as an auto body technician.
Survivors include his wife, Sabrina R. Dean; one son, John Dean of Marietta; two daughters, Brandy Miller and Katie Dean, both of Marietta; his parents, Leon and Betty Dean of Marietta; his grandmother, Alma Dean of Marietta; one brother, David A. Dean of Marietta; one sister, Cheri Gibbs of Trion; and one grandchild. Contributions may be made to the John and Katie Dean Trust at Sun Trust Bank. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
