His obituary: Keith Gillespie, April 10, 2019. Keith Gillespie of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on April 10, 2019 at the age of 62. He is preceded in death by his mother Joyce Harris Clifford and his father William T. Gillespie. He is survived by his partner of 25 years, Catherine Cunningham Lowder, his sisters Gwen Gillespie, Billie Gillespie Taylor, Jackie Gillespie Coleman and Gayle Gillespie Johnson, his son Matt Wieder, grandchildren Lincoln and Hazel Wieder, his nieces Joy Landress, Kim Keheley Frye, Tara Butler Robinson, his nephew Ian Johnson and his great nieces and nephews, Katie, Chelsea, Jake, Riley, Jack, Maddox and Calli, his Uncle Lewis Harris and Aunt Gail Hardman. Keith always remained positive regardless of any obstacles life handed him, and he carried on with a positive and upbeat attitude. He was witty and had a great sense of humor. He loved NASCAR racing and anything to do with cars, old western movies and books, and loved his family and friends. He requested to be cremated with no funeral service, but said it would be okay if we gathered sometime and shared stories and celebrated his life. We will try to organize a celebration at a later date, to share and remember his life.
