His obituary: John Mayton, 54. John Mayton, 54 of Woodstock died on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Marietta City Cemetery in Marietta with the Rev. Woody Woodward officiating. Mr. Mayton was a graduate of Sprayberry High School and served in the US Navy. He was a long-time employee of the Coca Cola Company. Survivors include his parents, Charles & Joann Mayton of Marietta; one sister, Janice Galloway of Woodstock; two brothers, Joe Mayton of Woodstock, James Mayton of Marietta; nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made in loving memory of John Mayton to the Atlanta Humane Society, 981 Howell Mill Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30318.
