Her obituary: Stevens – Charisse Anna Young Stevens, 49 of Navarre, FL died Sunday, March 4, 2007, after a lengthy battle with her illness. Charisse was born in Caribou, Maine and had resided in Navarre the past four years. She was a 1976 graduate of Sprayberry High School in Marietta. She and her husband, Charlie relocated to the Navarre area because she loved the beach. Mrs. Stevens is survived by her husband of 18 years, Charlie Stevens of Navarre; son, Nicholas (Tara) Young, of Kennesaw; a daughter, McKenzie Stevens of Navarre; a grandson, Dravyn Young; her father, Curtis Buck Young of Decatur, TX; her mother Iris M. Young, of Kennesaw; her sister Carolyn J. (David) Tritt of Talking Rock, GA; uncle, Harold Clark; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 4 P.M. Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in the chapel of Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, 7794 Navarre Parkway, Navarre, FL 32566. (Placed by family)
