His obituary: Mr. Dickerson. Robert (Bobby) Reed Dickerson Jr., 18, of 2449 Jewell Drive NE, Marietta, died Friday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services were Sunday at First United Methodist Church, Marietta, with the Rev. James A. Budd officiating. Burial was in Georgia Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Georgia Heart Fund. He was a native and lifelong resident of Marietta and was a senior at Sprayberry High track team and the Boy Scouts. Survivors include parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dickerson, Marietta; sisters, Mrs. Patricia Huey, Atlanta, Miss Mary L. Dickerson, Decatur, Miss Barbara Anne Dickerson, Marietta; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Hendricks, Clemson, S.C. Mayes Ward Funeral Home, Marietta, is in charge of arrangements.
