His obituary: James Ronald Laster, July 9, 1957 – December 1, 2012. Mr. James Ronald Ronnie Laster, 55 of Kennesaw, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Heritage Hospice with family by his side following an extended illness. Ronnie was born July 9, 1957 in Marietta, Georgia. Following graduation, Ronnie served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring as a SGT. He received his associate degree during his time in the Air Force as well. Ronnie is preceded in death by his father; Jimmy Irwin Laster, who also died on December 1, 2012. Survivors include his mother; Cathaleen W. Moore of Marietta Ga, daughter and son Rachael and Aubrey Laster of Kennesaw Ga, sister and brother-in-law; Freida and Doug Gober of Woodstock Ga, brothers and sisters in law; Randy and Angie Laster of Woodstock Ga and John and Jessica Laster of Douglas Ga. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in the Chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Dr. Wallace Wheeles with Kennesaw United Methodist Church and Dr. Doug Thrasher with Hillside United Methodist Church will be officiating.
