His obituary: Sturdivant, Nolan Lee. Mr. Nolan Lee Sturdivant III, age 49, of Acworth, GA, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. from the First Baptist of Woodstock Church with Rev. Gene Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Sturdivant was a native of Cobb County and was a member of the First Baptist of Woodstock Church. Surviving are sons, Nick Sturdivant and Jonathan Sturdivant of Kennesaw, GA; daughter, Katelyn Sophia-Ann Sturdivant, Kennesaw, GA; mother, Betty Brooks Sturdivant, Acworth, GA; father, Nolan Sturdivant and wife, Evelyn, Acworth, GA; sisters, Theresa Black, Roswell, GA, Sherri Harper, Acworth, GA, Jenny Klein, Woodstock, GA and is preceded in death by sister, Edie S. Burge; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2007 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Kennesaw, GA (770)422-7299. (Placed by family)
