Her obituary: Miss Cook. Laura Sue Cook, 25, of Blackwell Rd., Marietta, died Friday. Funeral will be Sunday, at 2 p.m. from the Noonday Baptist Church with remains placed in state at 1 p.m. Dr. George Barnett will officiate. Burial.in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. Miss Cook lived in Cobb County for 22 years and was a member of the Noonday Baptist Church and was a secretary for the Citicorp Corporation. Survivors include parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack J. Cook, Sr. of Marietta; two sisters, Wanda Rowe, Rose Marie Cook, both of Marietta; brother, Jack J. Cook, Jr. of Marietta; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude House of Oklahoma and grandmother, Lorine Cook of Atlanta.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Noonday Baptist Church Building Fund. 4121 Canton Rd., Marietta, 30066.Norman Medford Funeral Home, Marietta, was in charge of arrangements.
