His obituary: Christopher Bowen, June 3, 1957 – November 24, 2023. Christopher Bowen, age 66 passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023. Christopher was born in Albertville, Alabama to Hazel and William Bowen. Christopher served our country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Hunley. He was retired from Lockheed in Marietta as a Tool Crib Technician (1984 - 2017). Christopher was a huge University of Alabama fan and a collector of their memorabilia. He also enjoyed being an uncle to his great nieces & nephews, who called him DA. Christopher also enjoyed reading comic books as well as science fiction. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Christopher is survived by his brother Tim Bowen (Sue); his mother Hazel Bowen; his brother Vincent Bowen (Julie); 4 nieces and 3 nephews. Christopher was preceded in death by his father William Bowen; his brother Rick Bowen. Christopher will be laid to rest in Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
