Her obituary: Angelia D. Spence, 44, Marietta resident. Angelia D. Angie Spence, 44 of Marietta died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta, with the Rev. Denise Beltzner officiating. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park cemetery in Marietta. A native of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Spence was employed by the Cherokee County Department of Family and Children Services as a social worker for 10 years. She was a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. Survivors include her husband, Patrick Spence; one son, Ryan Spence; one brother, Gene Cork; two sisters, Pamela Meredith and Joey Leigh Cork; one stepson, Bradley Spence; and nephews and niece. Contributions may be made to WellStar Community Hospice, 4040 Hospital West Drive, Austell, Ga. 30106. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
