Marietta resident. Stephen Edward Lassiter, 45, of Marietta died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hay–Gantt Funeral Home in Marietta, with the Rev. Danny Gravitt officiating. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park. A Cobb County native, Mr. Lassiter was employed by Foley Brogdon as a salesperson. He was a member of Marietta Campmeeting and St. Stephen United Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Haylie Lassiter of Marietta; his mother, Sandra Lassiter of Marietta; one brother, Narvel Lassiter III of Dallas; and a nephew and a niece. Contributions may be made to WellStar Community Hospice, 4040 Hospital West Drive, Austell, Ga. 30106. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
