Her obituary: Sharon Barros, 66, of Marietta, GA, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022. There are no services planned at this time. Sharon is survived by her daughters, Christie Blair of Gwinnett, GA & Jennifer Patterson of Marietta, GA; son, Joe Nicholson & wife Yondi of San Diego, CA; father, Billy Reid of Marietta, GA; Joel Reid of Rockmart, GA; sister, Sandra Yancey of Marietta, GA; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Barros; daughter, Valerie Nicholson; and mother, Mary Reid. Sharon was born on Monday, December 5, 1955, in Kennesaw, GA to Billy & Mary Reid. She was hard working and a good provider for her family. Sharon had an enthusiastic sense of humor and a feisty personality. She enjoyed spending her time with her friends and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her caring presence will be greatly missed.
