Her obituary: Michele Renee Hamilton, Age 55, formerly of Montgomery County, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012 at her residence. Born October 18, 1956 in Texas, she was the daughter of Mary Ruth Strangeways and the late Curtis Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her brother Bruce Hamilton.Michele graduated with a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas. She was an engineer with the Montgomery County Government and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Holland Hamilton, Frostburg; brothers, Robert Walsh and wife Carol, Houston, Texas; Richard Hamilton and wife Bonnie, Gainesville, Georgia; nephew, Bruce Hamilton, San Antonio, Texas; niece, Misty Hamilton, Gainesville, Georgia. A Memorial service will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church , 11701 Clopper Road, Gaithersburg, MD, on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 7 p.m. with Deacon John officiating.Condolences may be sent to www.sowersfuneralhome.com.
