His obituary: Francis Joseph Murray. High Point – Mr. Francis Joseph Murray Jr., 50, resident of 2444 Alderbrook Dr. died January 30th, 2007 at High Point Regional Hospital. Mr. Murray was born August 31st, 1956 in Manhattan, New York, a son to Francis and Beatrice Grier Murray. He was a resident of Georgia most of his life and had been living in North Carolina for a year. He retired as a chief Master Sgt. For the Georgia Air National Guard after 30 years and was currently working at Guilford Technical Community College. He was of the Catholic faith. He is married to the former Patricia McGinnis who survives of the home and was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Murray. Also surviving is his father, Francis Frank Murray Sr. and wife Lucy of Marietta GA; two children, Chris and Brittany Murray both of Phoenix Arizona; four brothers, Tim Murray of Marietta GA, Richard Murray of Rydal GA, Darryl Wilson of Marietta GA and Dennis Herring of Marietta GA and four sisters, Kathy Chiaralanzie of Port St. Lucie FL, Nancy Morella of Marietta GA, Terry Ann Dishman of Marietta GA and Marcia Crocker of Marietta GA. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point NC with Rev. Charles Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. On-line condolences may be made through www.cumbyfuneral.com.
