Her obituary: Beverly A. Brackett, 39, former Marietta resident. Beverly Ann Opp Brackett, 39, of Woodstock, formerly of Marietta, died Saturday, March 9th, 1996. Services will be 7:30 pm Tuesday at Hay-Gantt Funeral Home in Marietta with the Rev. Ken Smith officiating. A native of St. Louis, MO, Mrs. Brackett lived in Marietta 34 years. She was a 1974 graduate of Sprayberry High School and attended Chattahoochee Technical Institute, where she studied accounting. Survivors include her son, Derek E. Brackett of Woodstock; her parents, Leo and Bettie Jean Opp; three sisters, Sherry Richardson of Acworth, Pam Moore and Debi Stancliff both of Marietta; and several nieces and nephews.
