Her obituary: Amy Yvonne Gilleland, June 8, 1956 – March 16, 2013. Ms. Amy Yvonne Gilleland, 56, of Canton, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Wardlaw officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 pm until 3 pm at the funeral home. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and David Bennett of Canton; granddaughter, Alexandra Bennett of Canton; sisters, Lynn Gilleland of Statesville, NC and Lori Gilleland of Atlanta; niece, Erin Wels of Oak Park, IL.
