He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on December 24, 1954, to the late John W. and Yvonne Marshall Ayers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Steve Ayers and Mike Ayers.
Jon is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathy Sue Ayers; daughters and sons-in-law, Kylee and Jose Zulueta, Celeste and Chad Manzano; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dan and Becky Ayers, Mark and Kate Ayers, James and Gina Ayers, Bill Ayers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joy and Darrell Pirkle, Gin and Sal Paratore; sister-in-law, Rose Mary Ayers; grandchildren, Sharayah and Melesso Quarles, Meilin and Zane Patton, Zoe Manzano, Jaidyn Zulueta, Kristopher Zulueta; great-grandchildren, Zeke and Reina Quarles, Brooklynn and Brantley Patton. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 12:00 Noon and 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Hunt officiating. The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Jon Lee Ayers.
