July 20, 1955 – September 6, 2022. James Elmer Nelson Jr., age 67, of Marietta, GA entered his eternal rest on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving family. The funeral service for Mr. Nelson will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Greater Community Church of God in Christ, 406 Roswell Street, Marietta, GA 30060. Mr. Nelson will lie in state at the church one hour before the funeral. Due to COVID-19 precautions, masks will be required. For those unable to attend the service in person, you will be able to view the livestream at the funeral home website at 11:00 am on September 13th.
