His obituary: David Wayne Lieving, 65, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away peacefully January 8, 2020, at 5:20 p.m. following a long courageous fight. David was born in Marietta, GA, to his parents Annie Ruth and Malvern (Mal) Gale Lieving. David was preceded in death by his father, Malvern (Mal) Lieving, Mother in Law Joyce A. Powell and Father-in-Law Stephen K. Powell and beloved pets Duke and Izzy.
David was survived by his loving wife of 24 years Debra Lieving, two sons Jerimie Lieving and wife Melissa and Adam Lieving and wife Amanda, daughter from his heart Stephanie Reddick and husband Charlie, step son Michael Hodges, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grand children, his Mother Annie Ruth Lieving-Williams, his brother Daniel (Dan) Lieving, sisters Lynda Mayes and Lisa Rodgers and his beloved pets Holly and Bella. David was a resident of Marietta, Georgia, Warner Robins, Georgia and Cartersville, GA, throughout his life. He attended Sprayberry High School, Chattahoochee Tech and Norh Metropolitan Technical College and graduated on the President's List with an Automotive Degree. David was a member of the United States Air Force stationed in Warner Robins, Georgia, and served our great country for four hears. David was a longtime employee of Atlanta Steel, Butler Telecom and worked as an Electrician for several years, he also worked for Marietta Toyota and Parkway Ford. David was a great friend and adored by everyone he met. He participated in Motocross Racing, built and absolutely loved Hotrod's, attended Car Shows and was genuinely a car, people and animal lover. He was an adoring Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son and Brother, was full of life and love for all his family, friends and even strangers. David will be forever missed and loved!
